1903 - 2003 - Lawyer, jurist and feminist figure. She dedicated her life to fighting for the working class and women's emancipation in Chile. Together with Flor Heredia, she drafted the bill that would allow women to vote in all elections.

1902 - 1984 - Defender of women's social, political and economic rights and one of the promoters of women's suffrage in Chile. She was one of the founders of the first women's party in Chile called Partido Cívico Femenino (1922) and of the Movimiento Pro-Emancipación de las Mujeres de Chile (1931).
